Principal’s Message

Dear Windsor Hall Families,
It is a privilege to connect with you as the incoming Principal of Windsor Hall, a community whose growth I have been so incredibly proud to share since our earliest chapters. Having been a part of our journey, I already know firsthand the deep dedication and care that define our students and faculty.
As we look toward the 2026–2027 school year, I find myself thinking about what matters most as we write our next chapter. For me, it always comes down to three simple, guiding ideas: kindness in leadership, the joy of discovery, and our shared responsibility to a sustainable world.
In the coming year, you will see these values come to life in our daily routines. We want to cultivate a genuinely warm, supportive environment where empathy isn’t just taught, but lived. It is our goal for our students to grow into compassionate leaders who lift others up. Our classrooms will be vibrant spaces driven by natural curiosity, where students can experience the real, infectious joy of figuring things out.
And through our International Baccalaureate framework, we will continue to challenge our students to think deeply about the world they inherit, teaching them to live with purpose and act with real integrity.
I also want to take a moment to extend my sincere thanks to our Founding Principal, Dr. Robert Anstey, for the exceptional foundation he has built. As Dr. Anstey takes on his role as Board Advisor, we will be working closely together to ensure our community experiences a smooth, seamless, and stable transition.
Our focus this year is simple: to make sure every single student at Windsor Hall is deeply known, academically challenged, and cared for as an individual. I look forward to working alongside your families to build on the strong foundation we have established.
I wish you all a wonderful, safe, and restful summer with your loved ones.
Regards,

Mrs. Joyce Tong

Our Crest

Our School Crest tells the story of our school and represents what is important to our community. It is not only a visual symbol of our school but also reflects the values, beliefs, and relationships that Windsor Hall stands for.

The Pacific Dogwood Flower: The Pacific Dogwood (Cornus nuttallii) was adopted in 1956 as British Columbia’s floral emblem. Dogwood flowers are used as symbols of rebirth. Dogwood flowers are also connected to durability and the ability to withstand various challenges in life. Although the dogwood flower is small and delicate looking, it is surprisingly resilient.

The Open Book: Books are a timeless symbol of learning and knowledge.

Flames: Flames signify zeal and intense passion. It may be used to show that the bearer has undergone severe trials and came out on the other side victorious. Windsor Hall wishes to ignite in students a passion for learning.

The Lion: The lion is considered the king of the jungle forests. At Windsor Hall, it stands for strength, courage, honour and bravery.

The Colour Blue – Azure: Blue signifies a person’s unwavering loyalty, faith, truth, and strength.

The Olive Branches are one of the most recognized symbols of peace that the world knows. This important symbol also signifies harmony.

Our Motto: The spirit of Windsor Hall shines when the actions of students of all ages reflect their school motto, Non Nobis Solum – Not For Ourselves Alone. Each year the students of Windsor Hall raise funds for worthwhile causes. Students also strive to be global citizens, raising awareness of marginalized communities and participating in global aid and community projects.
